It was another feast of goals this afternoon as Hendon progressed to the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Trophy with an emphatic 5-2 win over Beckenham Town.

The Greens took the lead when Bradley Dixon-Smith converted from close range before the home side took an advantage into half-time capitalising on two poor pieces of Hendon defending.

However, once Nikolai Krokhin equalised in the 52nd minute, Ben Bukowski's men took control of the game and were worth their lead when Sam Shaban headed home from Keagan Cole's cross.

Fine work from Tobi Adaje forced an own goal with five minutes remaining, and Niko Muir capped an excellent second half when he burst clear in stoppage time to put the tie beyond doubt.

The draw for the next round is on Monday lunchtime.
