It was a happy return to Silver Jubilee Park for Gary McCann and his Billericay Town side this afternoon as they ran out 4-1 winners to cement their position at the top of the table.

After an even opening 25 minutes or so, Jack Paxman opened the scoring before two goals in five minutes at the end of the first half effectively sealed the points. Bradley Williams' piledriver was followed up by a superbly executed free kick from Alfie Cerulli.

Lonit Talla pulled a goal back as Hendon briefly threatened a comeback before Femi Akinwande added some gloss to the scoreline with a well-taken fourth after a defensive mix up.

Focus now turns to the visit to Horsham on Saturday next week for Non-League Day.
