We were saddened to hear earlier this week of the passing of Susan Deadman after an intense battle with illness.

Susan will be well known to Hendon fans from the 1960s and 70s as the wife of Greens legend Peter. She was a regular at Claremont Road and, in more recent years, has attended games with Peter and his son John, who also had a brief playing spell with us, since our move to Silver Jubilee Park.

Our thoughts remain with Peter, John, and the rest of the Deadman family at this sad time. We know how sadly missed Susan will be.
