We were saddened to have learned of the recent passing of former Hendon player Eric Allinson.

Eric was a defender who made his first-team debut in August 1978 in a 3-1 Middlesex Charity Cup win over Finchley and went on to make a further 14 appearances over the next two seasons.

Eric also enjoyed a long period serving Dulwich Hamlet, for whom he made over 200 appearances, and also enjoyed a spell at Bromley.
