Hendon progressed to the London Senior Cup semi-final for the third consecutive season, and fourth year out of five under Lee Allinson with a fortunate 2-1 win over Essex Senior League side Sporting Bengal.
With chances at a premium, the visitors took the lead in the 68th minute when Joe Gregory neatly tucked the ball beyond Dylan Berry from a tight angle.
It was an advantage they held on to, relatively comfortably until the first minute of stoppage time when Kai Brosnan's header went in off the post. The unlikely winner came three minutes later when Billy Leonard followed-up Niko Muir's saved shot to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and set up a semi final against Cray Wanderers or Dartford.
