Hamza Semakula once again came up with the goods for Hendon yesterday in front of an excellent crowd of 505 as the Greens celebrated Non League Day with a 2-1 win over 10th place Winchester City.

Semakula curled home a lovely left footed effort in the first half before adding to his tally in the second period before Daniel King netted in stoppage time for the visitors in what proved to be no more than a consolation.

The result keeps Hendon in 9th place in the table, hitting the 50 point mark in the process.
