We are saddened to hear that long-time Hendon supporter Mick the Post passed away at home recently at the age of 78.

A regular supporter at Claremont Road as a youngster, Mick returned to watching Hendon on a regular basis during the Earlsmead years before continuing to watch regularly at Silver Jubilee Park.

Often found sat in the Bedford End with David Bedford, Mick was also fond of a good ale and sometimes spent his afternoons quietly in the bar when things weren't going so well on the pitch.

Mick will be sadly missed by all at Silver Jubilee Park and Hendon Football Club, and we keep his friends, family, and everyone that knew him in our thoughts at this sad time.
