The end of season awards took place after the conclusion of our match with Poole Town this afternoon, with Dave Diedhiou and Joe White featuring heavily in the silverware stakes.
The prestigious Supporters' Player of the Year went to Diedhiou, who also picked up the Players' Player of the Year award and an award for reaching 400 games this season.
Meanwhile, skipper Joe White collected the top goalscorer award for his 17 goals, and the Manager's Player of the Year gong. Young full-back Josh Dawodu was rewarded for a fine debut season with the Young Player of the Year award.
Simon Lawrence awarded his final Chairman's Award to the Allinson family, who have become such an integral part of the Hendon FC family over the past 3 and a half years.
Meanwhile, the Supporters Association chose main club sponsor Steve Melton as the Supporter of the Year, while William Tomlin picked up the Young Supporter of the Year award after following the club up and down the country throughout the season.
Further awards were made to Kieran and Callum Fox of the Hendon FC Scottish Supporters as they were presented with Hendon shirts signed by their favourite player, Dave Diedhiou.
Tributes were also paid to outgoing Chairman Simon Lawrence, who steps down this summer after 13 years at the helm. He was awarded a vintage Hendon shirt and trophy from the football club to commemorate his service to the club, while former players Colin Tate and Alan Campbell, Simon's favourite ever Hendon player, presented Simon with a crystal decanter and something to go inside.
