It was a bridge too far this afternoon at Silver Jubilee Park as Poole Town prepared for the play-offs in the best possible way with a 4-0 win over a tired Hendon side.

After Wes Fogden had opened the scoring shortly before half-time, two Tobias Holmes goals took the game away from the Greens before Fogden added his second, and Poole's fourth with the final kick of the game late on.

The result means that Hendon finished the 2022-23 season in 18th place, one place above the drop zone meaning that we can look forward to another season at Step 3 next time around.
