Barring an unexpected weather event, the Greens return to action tonight after a 10 day break with a home game against Boreham Wood. Kick off at Vale Farm will be at 7:45pm.

Boreham Wood will be looking to continue their push for the play-offs, they currently lie in 5th place, and a win would leave a gap of four points between the play-off teams and the chasing pack.

Unlike ourselves, Boreham Wood played on Saturday, and ran out 1-0 winners at Canvey Island thanks to a 55th minute strike from former Horsham front man Claude Seanla.

A win for the Greens will move the club back up to 13th place, but more importantly would mean that we would be 9 points clear of the relegation zone. With the games coming thick and fast over the next couple of weeks, Gary McCann will be very keen to get those important points to secure safety sooner rather than later.

With the weather having taken a distinct improvement over the past 48 hours, and the fact that Wembley played at home yesterday, drawing 1-1 with Bedfont, we are not making any plans for a pitch inspection before the game.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible this evening.
