Lee Allinson's side continued their pre-season campaign with a 3-1 win over Thatcham Town this afternoon, bouncing back with a degree of assurance from their midweek humbling at Ware.

Joe White opened the scoring early on before Riccardo Alexander-Greenaway netted his first goal for the first team to make it 2-0 at the break. A penalty reduced the arrears before a trialist restored the two-goal advantage late on.

Next up for the Greens sees a step up in opposition as we host former gaffer Gary McCann and his Hampton & Richmond Borough side at Silver Jubilee Park on Monday evening. Kick-off for that will be 7:30pm.
