Our former Under-23 manager and current Chalfont St Peter first-team manager FInlay Johnson is currently running 5K every day for 50 Days to create a fund for children between the ages of 3 and 16 to receive new football boots when grass roots football returns.

Fin began his odyssey on 1st March so is just beyond the halfway point and will be meeting up for a run with Hendon chairman Simon Lawrence in the near future.

Although he has already exceeded his initial £1,000 target, every additional donation will help a child that perhaps might not be able to afford a pair of boots to have the chance to join in with grass roots football again in the coming weeks.
