We are delighted to be able to announce Ashford Place as one of the community sponsors of Hendon Football Club for the 2020/1 season.
Based in Cricklewood, Ashford Place provide support for many of the most vulnerable members of our local society through a range of projects and initiatives.
Whether that is to ensure everyone has access to secure housing, promoting social inclusion by running projects to combat loneliness and isolation, particularly amongst adults, supporting people with their physical and mental health and a vast range of other initiatives to help improve the lives of those within the London Borough of Brent.
Hendon Football Club, through the work undertaken by Rob Morris and the team at Silver Jubilee Park, have been working closely with Ashford Place for a few years to build SJP into a community hub where those living with dementia or caring for someone with dementia can come together and take part in activities designed to improve their wellbeing.
Through the over-50s club and dementia cafe run out of the clubhouse on a Wednesday morning and through the Christmas Connections initiative that we supported almost 2-years ago, we have been humbled and delighted to play a small part in supporting the outstanding and vital work that Ashford Place provide our local community.
This season, those of you with access to Social Media will see the Ashford Place logo on all of our matchday image cards, whilst in addition Hendon Football Club will be actively supporting some of those initiatives designed to help those most at risk in and around the football club.
