A second half hat-trick from Shaun Lucien saw Hendon win their first pre-season outing 4-2 against a competitive Bracknell Town side.

The Greens took the lead midway through the first half when trialist Sammy Gebrai headed home Cheyce Grants deep cross but the hosts equalised with a thumping far post header before the break.

Bracknell went ahead shortly after the break when a penalty kick given for handball against Matt Ball was initially saved by another trialist, Harry Harrisann, before the rebound was tucked home.

Shaun Lucien equalised soon after with a deft dink over the goalkeeper, latching onto Joe White's adroit through ball before he completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot and then a super free kick from inches outside the penalty area to complete a thorough work out for the Greens.
