Hendon were thoroughly outplayed in their Southern League Quarter Final at Needham Market this evening, going down by 5 goals to 1.

Billy Hunt scored twice for the hosts in the first half before Luke Ingram added a third shortly after the break. A penalty nine minutes from time made it 4-0 before Shaun Lucien netted the goal of the game with a sumptuous free kick which was no more than a consolation.

Jamahl Godward finished the scoring in stoppage time seizing on more poor defending to secure a well deserved progression for the hosts.
