Hendon picked up an important three points at a wet Vale Farm this evening to move further away from the relegation zone. The 2-0 win over Bognor Regis Town sees the Greens move up to 13th place.
After an even, goalless first period, both sides had chances cleared off the line early in the second half. Hendon took the lead in the 70th minute when Scott Cousins found the back of the net. The second goal came six minutes later, when Bognor failed to clear their lines from their own free kick, and the ball ended up with James Bent who slammed the ball home to secure the points.
