Our busy schedule of fixtures continues this week with home games against Bognor tonight and Carshalton on Thursday. Both sides are well embroiled in the relegation battle, and like ourselves will be very keen to get more points on the board.
Bognor are unbeaten in their last four games, having beaten Harrow and Carshalton before drawing against Aveley and most recently Sutton on Saturday. However, despite that improved run of results, they still lie in 21st place in the table, 6 points from safety.
Meanwhile, Carshalton, who we only played a week or so ago, lie just two places higher, with two more points on the board than Bognor. Since playing us they have lost 2-0 at Tonbridge Angels and drawn 1-1 at Margate.
Gary McCann will be keen to ensure that we put our two recent disappointing defeats against Brimsdown and Waltham Abbey behind us, and pick up some more much needed points to get us closer to safety.
Both games will kick off at 7.45pm at Vale Farm, and we hope to see as many of you as possible there on one or both evenings.
