Sport Therapist Kate Simmons has kindly provided Greensnet with an update on those currently out of action following the recent unfortunate spell with several players sustaining injuries in a short space of time.
Ryan Hope is currently ruled out of the squad having suffered ankle ligament damage during the League Cup match at the beginning of the month at Walton Casuals. Although no definite return to play has yet been set, the medical department are hopeful that following his on-going rehabilitation that he could potentially return within the next four to six weeks.
Tom Hamblin has been ruled out of contention as he continues to recover from a calf strain which he picked up during our FA Cup tie with Hayes & Yeading. Although the injury has initially taken a couple of weeks to settle the medical department are hopeful that he will return to action in the next two to three weeks.
Kameron English has been ruled out following a hamstring issue picked up at the start of the second half on Saturday. The club will update on the return of Kameron once it is known.
Harvie Gardiner returned to action on Saturday following a minor knee injury as did Luca Valentine following illness.
The squad also has some players carrying minor niggles which are being monitored however do not rule them out of contention for selection.
