James Gray's Hendon squad are still looking for their first points in over five weeks after Metropolitan Police inflicted their 8th defeat in a row, winning 3-0 at Imber Court.
At half time the home side were just one goal to the good, former Green Jack Mazzone capping a lovely move with a simple tap in midway through the half. The visiting squad re-grouped during the break and managed a brief spell of pressure, but in the 56th minute a poorly taken set piece allowed the Police to break quickly and play Max Blackmore in for a swift finish. Met Police weren't finished though and in the 79th minute they stamped their playoff credentials firmly on proceedings with a third goal after Jonathan Hippolyte broke clear.
