We are delighted to announce that Richard Merryfield is the winner of the Goal of the Season competition. Richard's entry was the one that was closest to Gary McCann's top five, with Richard agreeing with four of the five selections.

Gary's selection was as follows: 1st - Goal 7 (Zak Joseph v Folkestone Invicta), Goal 3 (Ashley Nathaniel-George v Billericay Town), Goal 2 (Josh Walker v Dulwich Hamlet), Goal 13 (Zak Joseph v Folkestone Invicta), Goal 6 (Niko Muir v Brightlingsea Regent).

Richard's selection was exactly the same, except he had Goal 8 (Ashley Nathaniel-George v Thurrock) in second place. Richard will be contacted by the club once the fixtures have been released so that he can select which game he would like to attend as a guest of the club with three friends.

We would like to thank all those supporters who entered the competition from across the globe, including Italy and Australia, and all money raised will go to the 12th Man Fund to help James Gray has he builds a squad for the new season. We would also like to thank Gary McCann for choosing the top five.
