It's been a disappointing night for the first team as they were beaten 2-1 at Lowestoft Town, a result that helps our hosts in their battle for survival.
Harvey Hodd gave Lowestoft the lead on the stroke of half-time, and whilst Zak Joseph equalised shortly after the break the winner was scored by Renei Batlokwa with twenty minutes to go.
The only bonus was that Dulwich Hamlet and Margate both slipped to 2-1 and 2-0 home defeats to Tonbridge Angels and Kingstonian respectively, although Leiston won 3-0 at home to Harrow Borough to keep their play-off hopes very much alive.
Meanwhile, Leatherhead, whose game at Brightlingsea Regent was postponed, have had their appeal hearing with the Bostik League and they will not be receiving a points deduction, so their play-off hopes are still alive as well.
