Niko Muir's 7th minute converted penalty was his 50th career goal for the club in his 82nd appearance.
His first competitive goal came in the 5-2 FA Cup win over Cheshunt in September 2016, and he went on to score 11 goals last season before moving on to Leiston for the second half of the campaign.
Upon his return, he hasn't looked back, and today was his 39th goal of the season. Since we joined the Isthmian League in 1963, only two players have scored more goals - David Hyde (59 in 1964-65) and Paul Whitmarsh (42 in 1998-99).
There will be a special Stat Attack article in the final programme of the season against Merstham detailing more of Niko's - and the squad's - goalscoring exploits this season.
