Gary McCann has been in touch with the website team in the past few minutes to confirm that Kezie Ibe has left the club this evening, and is expected to sign for Harlow Town in time to play this weekend.

Kezie has been a key member of the squad since he signed from Basingstoke Town in the summer of 2014, since when he has made 172 appearances, scoring 47 goals. However, this season he has been kept out of the starting line-up due to the form of the likes of Niko Muir and Zak Joseph, and having turned 35 last week, needs to be playing regular football.

Gary said "I am saddened that the time has come for Kezie to move on, but it is the right time from a footballing perspective. Kezie needs to be playing regularly and we are unable to offer him that at the current time.

"He is one of the nicest people you could hope to meet, and he has served both myself and Hendon Football Club fantastically over the past three and a half years.

"Kezie goes with our good wishes, and with huge thanks for all his efforts during his time with us."
