It has been brought to our attention that there are no trains running out of Liverpool Street for our trip to Billericay on Saturday, and also on 25th March when we travel to AFC Sudbury. This is connected with the ongoing Crossrail upgrade works, which includes major works at Shenfield.

This coming Saturday the official travel advice from the train operators is to use the Central Line to Newbury Park, and then use the rail replacement bus service which will be available from there to Billericay station.

However, an alternative that has been highlighted on our messageboard is to use C2C services to Basildon (from West Ham or Fenchurch Street), and then use the number 100 bus to Billericay - alighting at the Sun Street stop which is the nearest to the ground. The 100 runs every 15 minutes and the timetable can be found on the link below.

Service 100 timetable

For the AFC Sudbury game, there is no easy alternative that we are aware of, other than to travel to Newbury Park on the Central Line, then the rail replacement bus to Ingatestone to then pick up train services to Marks Tey and changing there to go to Sudbury.

Finally, advance warning that the Metropolitan Line will only be running between Wembley Park and Aldgate on Monday 17th April when we are due to play at Harrow Borough. However, the Piccadilly Line and the hourly service from Marylebone to Northolt Park will be running.

Our away games at Leatherhead and Folkestone Invicta are not due to be disrupted by engineering works for those travelling by train.
