The club have confirmed today that one signing has been made, whilst two players have left the club.
Joining from Metropolitan Police is former Reading midfielder James Harper. Whilst at Reading he made 339 appearances, scoring 24 goals, including two seasons in the Premier League. He began his career at Arsenal, and has also played for Cardiff City, Sheffield United, Hull City, Wycombe Wanderers, Doncaster Rovers, Barnet, Basingstoke Town and Hayes & Yeading United.
Leaving the club are Merrick James-Lewis, who has returned to Thamesmead Town, and Karl Oliyide, who is joining Enfield Town.
Oliyide, who joined the club in the summer, scored 12 goals in 34 appearances this season, in addition to the one appearance he made a couple of years ago whilst dual registered from Northwood.
Speaking to the website regarding Oliyide's departure Gary McCann said "I'm disappointed with the timing and feel that Karl has shown a lack of commitment to myself, the squad and the club. However, with the position we find ourselves in, we need players who are fully committed to the cause.
"We thank Karl for his efforts this season and we wish him well for the future."
