The three youngest members of our first team squad played for the Middlesex U18 side yesterday in the FA County Youth Cup against North Riding U18s.

Middlesex ran out 4-2 winners, having been 2-0 behind in the first half, with the crucial third and fourth goals coming from half time substitute and Greens first team regular Keagan Cole. Malachy McGovern played the full 90 minutes, whilst Mickey White was a late substitute.

This was a quarter final tie, and a trip to either Cheshire or Oxfordshire awaits in the last four, with those two teams scheduled to play their tie on 21st January

The fact that all three of our representatives in the county squad alreadyhave first team appearances under their belt is testament to the hard work done by our coaching staff at the club, particularly under 18 manager John Creith and his team, and of course Gary McCann and the first team backroom staff.
