The first team fought back from being 3-1 down with twenty minutes to go to draw 3-3 with Folkestone Invicta at Silver Jubilee Park this evening.
The Greens conceded twice in the first half, but early in the second period Casey Maclaren pulled a goal back when he thumped a header off the underside of the bar. Folkestone restored their two goal advantage, and with 70 minutes gone it looked like the points were going back to Kent.
However, the recent resolve that the squad have found was shown in abundance, and the first step towards the draw came when Sam Murphy converted a spot kick after Karl Oliyide was fouled in the box, and with about ten minutes to go, Kezie Ibe bundled the ball home after the keeper spilled a long range drive from Oliver Sprague to secure a point.
