Gary McCann was very pleased with the point picked up against Enfield Town on Saturday. He said, "I am very pleased with the draw. There wasn’t much between the teams and I think we were worth the draw.
"They had their best 20 minutes of the game after we scored. But we needed that second goal and we had a great chance to give us it. We had a really good passage of play leading up to the chance 5-10 minutes before they scored.
"Once they had got their equaliser, I think we stood up well to them. A few weeks ago, I am not sure we would have been able to get a point in those circumstances.
"Togetherness was highlighted in our prematch talk and I think we are beginning to show much more of that togetherness. We had a really tough week and we were limited in our options, so I was pleased with the way that everyone did pull together.
"As for the double change, neither Jerome nor Josh have had much football - it was Josh's first competitive start of the season - and they were running on empty. We did lose our attacking outlet, down the right but I felt we had to make the changes.
"I hope to add to our squad to replace those that we have lost in the last few weeks. There should be two or three others available for the Folkestone game on Tuesday."
