The first team slipped to another disappointing defeat as they were beaten 4-1 by Kingstonian in a game where three goals in six first half minutes were decisive as to where the points went.

Kingstonian were the better side in the opening exchanges, and it was no surprise when they took the lead through Joe Turner in the 26th minute. Four minutes later Aaron Lamont doubled the lead with a superb strike, before former Green Lee O'Leary made it 3-0 a minute later as the Greens defending was very disappointing.

The second half saw a better performance from the home side, but it was too little too late. Yousseff Bamba made it 4-0 in the 76th minute, before Niko Muir scored a consolation with five minutes to go.

Another tough test awaits on Saturday as Havant & Waterlooville visit in another league fixture, kick off at 3:00pm.
