The first team were thrashed 6-0 at Enfield Town this afternoon in a game in which there was only going to be one winner.
In a performance described by some supporters as one of the worst they had seen, the home side romped to victory, taking the lead in the 23rd minute through Percy Kiangebeni, before Kier Dickson doubled the lead just before half time.
Two goals in quick succession before the hour mark took the game out of sight as Dernell Wynter and Harry Ottaway netted, and further goals from Ricky Gabriel and Dickson completed the rout.
The squad have a chance of a quick redemption as they travel to Canvey Island on Tuesday night, kick off at Park Lane is at 7:45pm.
