The Greens rediscovered the winning touch this evening as they won 4-2 at East Thurrock United, despite both sides being reduced to ten men.
The only goal of the first half came in the 5th minute when Ryan Scott put the home side ahead. Aaron Morgan reduced the arrears early in the second period, but within five minutes Lewis Smith had restored the lead from the penalty spot.
Sam Murphy scored a penalty of his own in the 68th minute, before the Rocks were reduced to ten men when Rickie Hayles was sent off.
Leon Smith put the Greens ahead in the 86th minute, but seeing the game out was made tougher as Morgan was sent off for the second time this season, but the points were secured when Andre Da Costa opened his seasonal account in stoppage time.
