Gary McCann continued to be very proud of the squad following last night's 4-2 win over AFC Hornchurch.
He said of the result, "A winning mentality all through the squad is apparent - even those who haven’t been around that much - and it is infectious.
"The good news about last night - as well as the win, of course - is that we came through the game without picking up any new injuries. We had only two natural defenders and two midfielders; the rest were all attack-minded players.
"In the first half, we had many good passages of play and might have scored more than the two goals we got. But they also had a few chances especially the one lifted over the bar from close range.
"We knew they would come at us in the second half and when they made it 2-2 we might have caved in - teams of mine in the past may well have, but not this group. They're mentally strong and resilient.
"The other really good thing about the game was that three of our strikers - Kezie Ibe, Adam Wallace and Leon Smith - all scored and a fourth, Aaron Morgan set up Charlie Goode for his goal. Adam was running a class this evening and didn't leave Barnet until 8.00, but he rushed here and got his reward with a goal."
