A philosophical Gary McCann looked back at the draw with Grays and said, "After the high of Wednesday night in League Cup final, this match was bit after the Lord Mayor's Show.
"It wasn't a surprise, however, because the combination of strong wind and hard and bumpy pitch didn't suit either team. Factor in the tiredness for both teams, and it was always going to be difficult.
"Disappointingly, we picked up a couple of injuries, so we are down to the barest of bones in the squad for the next week. Hopefully, we will get quite a few of them back in time for the playoffs, but we have to get through the next three games this week and that will be a tall order.
"I have said it before, and I will say it again, I could not have asked more of my players. They have given me absolutely everything and it was the same on Saturday. I am so proud of them."
