Thursday evening will see our first competitive game as the home team at Silver Jubilee Park when we face Corinthian-Casuals in the London Senior Cup. However, we would like to reiterate that this is very much a one off at the current time.
We are unable to play home games in the Ryman League and the other cup competitions at SJP until it has been upgraded and reached the necessary ground grading. Unless we clearly state otherwise, all home games continue to be played at Earlsmead. This is why, during the bad weather in January and February, we were unable to switch league games to SJP.
We have played as the away side on four occasions at SJP in the past, when the ground belonged to Kingsbury Town. The first took place in the Middlesex Charity Cup group stage in August 1979, and the most recent in the Middlesex Senior Cup in November 2001, when we ran out 5-0 winners, our only ever competitive win over Kingsbury at SJP.
As part of the celebration of our first competitive game on the new 3G pitch at what will become our new home in due course, we have reduced admission prices to £5 for all adults, and £1 for under 16s. Kick off is at 7:45pm and the game will go straight to penalties if scores are level after 90 minutes.
The clubhouse will be open before, during and after the game, so if you haven't been to SJP in the past year or so, please do pop in.
