Hendon made it a maximum twelve points in eight days with a 2-0 win at Billericay Town this afternoon. With both Maidstone United and Margate only managing to draw, the result means the Greens now lie 7 points behind Maidstone with a game in hand, whilst Margate are a further 6 points behind, but they have two games in hand.
The win also extends the league unbeaten run to nine games, and the unbeaten run in all competitions to twelve.
The opening goal came in the 15th minute through Kezie Ibe, who now joins Leon Smith as leading scorer with 21 goals, and the second was scored in the 53rd minute by Andre Da Costa.
