A 61st minute goal from Kevin Maclaren was enough to secure all three points this evening as Hendon beat 1-0 against Canvey Island.

This third win in five days now means that the Greens cemented their spot in second place, and are now four points against of Margate, although the Kent side do have two games in hand. Maidstone are still nine points ahead, but the Greens still have a game in hand on the title favourites.
