Hendon manager Gary McCann was pleased with the reaction to the weekend reverse at Bognor.
After the Robert Dyas League Cup victory over Enfield Town, he said, "I am really satisfied with the result. It was a very professional performance in difficult weather conditions. It rained from minute 1 to minute 90 and the swirling wind didn’t help either.
"The defence went about their jobs in a very good manner. I criticised them for their display - especially the first 30 minutes - on Saturday and they responded as I expected them to.
"I was really pleased with the way that the whole squad reacted to the performance at Bognor and I think we played well, deserving to win the game.
"The changes I made to the defence were as much precautions as anything that happened on Saturday. It is better that James Fisher and Chris Seeby miss one game than play a game too many and have to miss significant time.
"The big worry from last night was the injury to Aaron Morgan, which we will assess over the next few days. Kevin Maclaren was withdrawn at half-time, mainly as a precaution. He felt he could play on, as he always does, but we have to make these decisions."
