Hendon won their second round tie at Enfield Town 1-0 this evening, the first time in nine seasons that the club have progressed through two rounds of the competition.

The result also ended a run of five consecutive defeats against Enfield Town, and extended the 100% cup record against the same opponents to six games. All five defeats have come in league games.

The only goal of the game came in the 48th minute when Kezie Ibe found the back of the net.

Up next in the third round, which is the last 16, will be a home tie against Hampton & Richmond Borough. The date will be announced in due course.
