Hendon progressed to the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy this afternoon thanks to a 4-0 win over Worthing.

It was Andre Da Costa who opened the scoring when he rounded the keeper in the 18th minute. The Greens could have been further ahead by half time but had two goals disallowed.

Kezie Ibe doubled the lead in the 59th minute, and twelve minutes later he made it 3-0 as he tapped home a low cross from Tony Taggart. The win was confirmed with two minutes to go when Sam Murphy converted a spot kick after Lee O'Leary was brought down in the box.

The draw for the third qualifying round will be made on Monday lunchtime, and will see Conference North and South clubs join the fray. Ties will be played on Saturday 29th November.
