Hendon moved back up to third place in the table following a 3-2 win at Leatherhead this evening.
Once again, the squad had to show character to ensure the points were secured as the second half performance was not their best.
The first half however saw Leon Smith score twice in three minutes midway through the half to give the Greens a 2-0 lead before Matt Smart pulled a goal back with a superb strike. Casey Maclaren restored the two goal lead shortly before half time.
Becka Kah Dembele pulled the home side back into the game in the 65th minute, but the Tanners were unable to fashion an equaliser, and were reduced to ten men late on when Kiernan Hughes-Mason was dismissed.
