Gary McCann was disappointed to concede yet another last minute goal following the defeat against Grays Athletic.
He said, "It is very disappointing that we have conceded the winning goal deep in stoppage time three home games in a row. I have a very honest bunch of players, and they have given me all the effort I could have asked for but, once again, we have made some bad mental errors at key moments in the game.
"Coming to the end of the season, as with every team, there is a lot of tiredness and tired players are more likely to make mistakes. This has been our downfall in recent games.
"We had to make a number of changes to give some players more minutes. They not only needed the minutes, but it was also to reward them for their loyalty to me and the Club over the past months. However, we looked a little short in the first half and never really got going.
"In the second half, we were much better and played much more like I wanted us to. We deservedly equalised and then ran into a goalkeeper in inspired form. He made three or four outstanding saves, and we also missed a number of excellent chances.
"Even after we conceded that second goal, when a lucky deflection bounced right to their scorer, we showed great resilience in fighting back. When we got the penalty in stoppage time, I thought we would escape with a deserved point, only to give away another terrible goal to lose it.
"What is most frustrating of these three games is that all three of the match-losing goals have come from us giving away the ball cheaply in good attacking positions."
