Gary McCann announced yesterday evening that Junior Lewis will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Junior, who has played an influential part as coach over the past three seasons, has decided that it is time for a new challenge, and the news was broken to the squad yesterday afternoon.
The squad, as well as the other members of the management team, have learnt a lot from Junior during his time with us, and he will very much be missed in the dressing room.
It would be wonderful if all our supporters could show their appreciation to Junior next Saturday against Margate and thank him for his contribution. He will of course always be a Hendon legend as he scored the winning goal against Leyton Orient in the FA Cup back in 1997.
Everyone at the club wishes Junior every success for the future, and let's see if we can finish the season on a high note.
