Hendon ground out a second 1-0 win in three days as they beat Carshalton Athletic this afternoon.
Once again the goalscorer was Leon Smith who netted from close range when largely left with an open goal.
As was the case on Thursday evening, it was the defensive group that stood out as they kept out the Robins comfortably, with Joe McDonnell keeping another clean sheet and being largely untroubled throughout the game.
The win means that the Greens slim hopes of gatecrashing the play-offs are still alive as they move on to a trip to Lewes on Tuesday evening.
