Hendon ground out a 1-0 win over Bury Town this evening to return to winning ways after Saturday's disappointment.

The goal came in the 26th minute when Leon Smith slotted the ball home between a defender and the keeper.

At the other end Joe McDonnell was largely untested with the back four of Chris Seeby, Jack Bennett, Elliott Brathwaite (in his first league appearance of the season) and Sam Flegg holding firm.
