For the second home game in a row, Hendon were made to pay as they conceded a late penalty.
This time it was Lowestoft Town who profited as Jack Ainsley converted the spot-kick following a foul by a home defender.
The game was an entertaining affair despite the goal being the only clear-cut shot on target, with both defences holding firm against everything that was thrown at them to the extent that neither keeper really had a save to make.
The result lifted Lowestoft into 4th place in the table, whilst the Greens remain in 8th place, 8 points adrift of the play-offs.
