"I'm not sure that smash and grab is a fair description of our win, because we weren't under pressure for long periods and they didn't have chance after chance.

"In the first half we looked jaded and leggy - but they were no different. That said, I don't think they caused us too many problems, despite all their possession.

"We changed things around at half-time and wanted to get 20-odd minutes out of Leon before bringing on Adam Wallace. I knew Smith could occupy both of their central defenders and then Wallace could use his power and strength to run at them.

"I thought we were the better team in the second half without creating anything like the number of chances we have done in recent games. Wallace should have scored a second with that late header and the only good chance they created was the one Sutherland kicked over the bar."
