We would like to remind everyone that tonight's Middlesex Senior Cup tie against Staines Town will be played at Hayes & Yeading United. Directions to the ground are on the website - but the club are based where Yeading used to play.
The game is being played on their 4G (not 3G as previously advised) facility and will kick off at the slightly earlier than normal time of 7.30pm.
It is a caged pitch, and spectators are not allowed to watch from inside the cage as this is a competitive fixture. Please also be aware that there are no spectator facilities around the pitch, it is all uncovered, and there are no seats. We are also not expecting there to be any refreshment facilities.
Admission to the game is £5, and Staines are hoping to produce a small programme or teamsheet. The game will be played to a conclusion tonight, with extra-time and penalties if necessary.
Please also be aware that as this is a county cup tie, the livescores service will not be operating. A full update on the game will appear on the website as normal late this evening.
The winners of tonight's tie will face a home semi-final tie against Hampton & Richmond Borough or Northwood, who are due to play on the same pitch tomorrow evening.
The other two quarter-finals are AFC Hayes v Wealdstone, who are also playing on the same pitch, but on Wednesday evening, and Ashford Town (Middlesex) v Harefield United, who are due to play at Short Lane on Tuesday.
