Hendon were beaten 2-0 at Dulwich Hamlet, but put in another good performance against one of the leading sides. Crucially, they stopped the supply of crosses by stifling their speedy wide men, to the extent that one of them was withdrawn on the hour mark.
Both goals were disappointingly soft goals to concede, with Ian Daly opening the scoring in the 59th minute, and then the second being an own goal by Sam Flegg.
Jefferson Louis was superb leading the line once again, and had two or three chances only miss the target by narrow margins.
