Hendon picked up three points this evening as they won 3-1 at Grays Athletic, with Jefferson Louis taking his goal tally for the season to 21.
The Greens took an early lead through Anthony Thomas, his 10th goal of the campaign, and Louis doubled the lead just before half-time.
In the 68th minute Grays keeper Lemar Johnson was sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity, and Louis stepped up to beat the outfield player who had gone between the sticks. Jeff Hammond scored a consolation shortly afterwards for the home side, but the Greens were able to hold on and secure all three points.
