Gary McCann didn't pull any punches in his post-match assessment after the defeat at Hampton on Tuesday evening.
He said: "Charlie Moone was the difference between the two teams, and he took his chances very well. It is games like last night that show our true credentials, but we came up well short.
"It is a real concern for me that we didn't do anything like enough to win a game. A number of players had their worst game of the season last night, but credit must go to Jefferson Louis for another two goals. That is 11 goals in 14 League matches and 13 in 18 in all competitions. It is a fantastic strike rate."
